About this event
A free, timed 5k every Saturday morning along the River Usk, starting and finishing by The Riverfront in the city centre. It's a flat, fast out-and-back on paved paths, with views of the Transporter Bridge at the turn. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or just come and cheer. Free, but register once on the parkrun website before your first visit and bring your barcode, or you won't get a time. Under-11s need to stay with an adult. A short walk from Newport station, and the Riverfront Café is right there for a post-run coffee.
