Llandegfedd Lake

About this place
Llandegfedd Lake is a big, beautiful reservoir set in rolling countryside in the Usk Valley, and it's a real playground for anyone who loves being on (or in!) the water. Have a go at sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, canoeing or kayaking, or join an organised open water swim or cold water dip. Anglers come from far and wide for the stocked rainbow trout and the lake's famously big pike. Not into getting wet? Try axe throwing or archery on dry land instead! It's also a lovely place for a walk, a picnic and some wildlife watching, and little ones can enjoy the playground. The Lakeside Café in the visitor centre overlooks the water, perfect for a hot drink and a cake. Good to know: activities are paid and some need booking, so check the website first. There's a charge for parking.
